Sunday reading: the best of the rest

Here are some of the items that nearly made it to the top of my list this week but didn’t quite make it. By-the -way, don’t forget to read Monday’s eBook review in case you didn’t get chance.

Monday and Tuesday saw the web buzzing with the news that Twitter had bought Posterous, I posted about it but The Next Web wrote about the benefits WordPress gained from the sale – WordPress sees 250% increase in imports from Posterous after acquisition by Twitter. WordPress also posted about it and tells how you can import Posterous content in to your WordPress.com hosted blog.

Good post on Social Media Examiner, especially if you are a LinkedIn fan. If you are getting a lot of attention from that site then this may something your should be looking at - 4 Tips for Creating Your LinkedIn Company Page.

Finally, Encyclopaedia Britannica will not longer be available in print. Wikipedia and the Internet are blamed. The BBC discusses the end and how they will focus on the digital edition.
